The results of the seventh Automobile Vacancies Fair (2007)
The seventh Automobile Vacancies Fair was held on March, 31. The Fair was organized in the seventh time by the automobile recruiting agency «Autokadr» on the base of the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (State Technical University).
As the representatives of the automobile companies noticed this time the most positive point was the quality of the PR action during the fair preparation as a lot of different experienced specialists were present and even students displayed some special firmness of purpose and serious attitude towards a job-search. The most active students who think about the future in advance were as it was shown by figures those of the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (State Technical University) – 93 candidates. The second place was traditionally took by the Moscow State Agricultural Engineering University by the name of Goryachkin – 18 candidates. The third leader was the Moscow State Technical University – 13 candidates. It is too early to say about the final results of the Fair or how many specialists are or will be hired by any particular company. But the participating companies remained definitely content with the event preparation and realization level as they wrote in their fair questionnaires themselves. To work for such a companies could be something really honorable and prestigious for many candidates. Many Moscow automobile market leaders traditionally take part in an Automobile Vacancies Fair and find here brilliant specialists. Some companies which are not less known became a Fair participants for the first time. Among them are Toyota Motor, Tekhnoservice, Avantime, Injectorcar, Avalux, Universal Spetstekhnika, Exist, Favorite Motors, Tekhnilak, Autosecurity and Kilometer Per Hour. 671 potential candidates visited the seventh Automobile Vacancies Fair in their job search. 248 of them were the technical colleges and high-schools graduates from Moscow and Moscow region. 423 people were specialists experienced in auto business. Car-sales Manager has been an especially popular position for many years. This time about 125 candidates appeared to be interested in vehicle sales. Professions of auto electrician, colorist, translation of the abbreviation ДОП fitter, diagnostician, fitter and tinman remained less romantic and rarer. The number of motor mechanics increased slightly since the previous Fair – 32 specialists, Spares department managers – 21 specialists, department foremans – 14 specialists, inspectors – 11 specialists. Top-managers did not avoid the Fair too. Twenty eight representatives of the administration teams visited the seventh Fair.
